31 FSS has a monthly publication that highlights applicable events for our dorm residents. The A4 flyers are handed out to dorm managers who then disseminate to their residents. This helps to ensure that our unaccompanied airmen have easy access to valuable information about FSS events.
The publication includes the Airmen spotlight, highlighting a high-speed dorm dweller each month, and the Shirts Shorts/Chief Brief which is gathered info from all of our wonderful chiefs and shirts and includes leadership, professionalism, and many other valuable informative bits for young Airmen.
The target of this publication is to make sure the young airmen know what is going on at Aviano and hopefully gives them a great alternative to frequenting local pubs and clubs that have a tendency to expose our military members to questionable behavior.
31FSS is also in the process of developing and implementing a new website and vamped up web presence to help bring the squadron, and base, into the future and put our information right into the hands of its customers.
